I Have Been Too Busy To Blog..

    I know it is a shame, but it's true. I am sorry to those of you Blogger Friends who visit me daily.  I did think about you and what I could be blogging, as I tilled, hoed, raked, planted, and watered.  And, got sunburned! No, it is so much better now, and I am not even peeling. Aloe Vera works wonders!

    So, I got to get onto the pc today, finally, after a week, and I spent the hours working on SoulrestES. I really needed to add to our site.  we have so many resources, and I only had a handful on there. Now I have 2 handfuls!!  ( ;

   After finding out I have been on here a large part of the day, and did NOT blog... ohmigoodness! 2dd15 said, well, you can just get on and answer my TAG... OOOOH what fun!! She assured me it won't take too long.  FYI- I do not usually do these, but, 2dd15 got permission to "tag" me, so I hope you 4 at the bottom are ok with me tagging you! Canadagirl, I was going to tag you, but 2dd said that you were recently tagged!!

Before I do that--

   The most exciting thing we did since I last blogged was to celebrate BabyBoy's 1st Birthday and Father's Day on the same day. 

   I cannot believe it has been a whole year since the LORD brought me another beautiful boy!  I truly thougth he was going to be another little girl. I really had to check, because I did not believe them.

   He got a camera for his birthday.   Isn't that wonderful? We have missed quite a few precious moments in his first year, so he really needed it!  Mom's happy!  ( ; 

OK, here goes...

1. Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, and find line 4.

2. Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What can you touch?
   A. My 64oz NascarRacing thermal cup 1/2 full of Dr.Pepper.  It's been a slow day!

3. What is the last thing you watched on TV?
   A. I was nursing BabyBoy as Matt watched the NBA Finals - does that count?  Last thing I watched becasue I wanted to was the News.

4. Without looking, guess what time it is.
   A. 9:03pm

5. Now look at the clock. What is the actual time?
   A. 8:56pm (Time I got done with this Quiz... 9:43; I'm multi-tasking)

6. With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?
   A. SuperAngel singing Into the West to BabyBoy and 6ds2.9, and they are giggling. Also Pledge My Head to Heaven by Keith Green on the Media Player.  It's a real circus here right now.  ( ;

7. When did you last step outside? What were you doing?
   A. 8:05pm, when I went to throw a ball out into the yard and grab 6ds2.9 .

8. Before you started this survey, what did you look at?

9. What are you wearing?
   A. a pink (ugh) maternity shirt (only because it is comfortable, for now), my black skirt, brown sandals and a Jeff Gordon ball cap. No, I'm not really into Nascar anymore, I just wanted my hair outta my face... and I have a sunburn on my head!

10. Did you dream last night?
   A. I don't get enough sleep at one time either to dream or to remember them. 

11. When did you last laugh?
   A. When we walked into the gas station, and 6ds2.9 said, "Yuck, Mommy, it mells disdusteen in here."  I love little children!

12. What is on the walls of the room you are in?
   A. My wallhanging with Jeremiah 29:11 on it, some Creative Memories  recognition cards, our homeschool certificate, Marriage certificate.

13. Seen anything weird lately?
   A. No, but Matt saw a giant Snapper Turtle crossing the road a couple of weeks ago. He said the head was big as his fist, and the tail was "a good 6-8 inches long."

14. What do you think of this quiz?
   A. I'm glad it isn't the usual Tag questions. These are ok.

15. What is the last film or video you saw?
   A. Smallville DVD

16. If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy?

   A. I have to leave this one, written by 2dd15: A good contractor (To finish our addition that as been unfinished for 3 years...) . Other than that, I would pay off our house and anyone else's in the family.  I know there are many families I could lighten the load for, too...

17. Tell me something about you that I don’t know.

   A. Well, my daughter, must know most verything (I would want anyone to know), because I can't come up with anything.  Ok, 3dd12 didn't know that I marched with our HS marching band at Disney World in Florida, in the parade.  Woo hoo.  ( ;

18. If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?

   A. I would make it easier to homeschool EVERYWHERE and mandate churches to help, if needed. (especially single parents)

19. Do you like to dance?

   A. Not really.  I haven't done it in about 15+ years, though.  I do enjoy 'dancing around' with my Littles.

20. Comment to George Bush:
   A. If you're gonna represent the LORD, do it all the way.

21. Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?
   A. No imagination, our first child, a girl, is named Amanda Dawn.

22. Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?
   A. Same deal, not firstborn, but, our first son is named after Daddy, Matthew. We call him Eric, which his Daddy chose.  I was going for Josiah.  I got outvoted.  We still dont't have a Josiah, 3 boys later.

23. Would you ever consider living abroad?
   A. Only before my children get married.

24. What do you want God to say to you when you reach the pearly gate? 
   A. Well done good and faithful servant.

My middle son is Ian Josiah... which is actually a little bit redundant! Ian means "God's gracious gift" and Josiah means "Yahweh gives". Interestingly, I did not know this until after we chose his name. But it was so appropriate b/c he was our only "surprise" baby and he was born 12 days before Christmas!

Yes, we have a Hannah Grace. We didn't know that was redundant, too. We couldn't think of a name for her, and didn't know that Hannah meant grace. I just liked the way they sounded together. She was born the week before Christmas. I guess the LORD sent extra grace along with her. I always tell her that she is just full of grace.

Neat answers Jacque! aha! I see I'm tagged, fun fun. Actually I copied this very tag from a blog I was reading a couple weeks ago and tagged my own kiddos, and its been a hoot watching where it's gone from there lol.
