I Have to Take a Minute To Offer Praise

Yes, I am on the old pc for a bit again. I am still adding to our Store Website, and probably always will be!! Anyway, I felt that I need to offer a few words of PRAISE to the LORD... just a few, because I could never offer ENOUGH.

Do you have a 3-year-old? Do you have a boy?  Do you have a 3-year-old boy?  We do... well, almost. His bd is next month.  He is a little sweetie.  He is a smartie. He is kind and forgiving and quick to repent.  And, sometimes he screams...

And, sometimes he runs around the dining room table. And, last week, he did just that, and wouldn't you know it? The leaf to the table was up - with a pointed corner - and he ran smack into it.  It hit him dead-center on his left eyebrow.  I couldn't believe he stayed conscious, because he hit it so hard, he popped back a few feet.

(FYI - some of this is gross) Anyway, thank the LORD, He helped me to stay calm, and I put my hand over it, and held it as I carried him into the kitchen.  AND, thank the LORD, He kept me calm as blood ran down my hand and pooled above his eye, and ran over the top of his head.  I had 5 children, including 1dd16, near tears, worrying about this Precious Little Brother.  I had to then calm them down, explaining he was fine and any wound to the head is going to bleed more; he would be alright. And, praise the LORD, 6ds2 was even calm.  He touched his head at one point and saw the blood on his hand and told me he was bleeding in a matter-of-fact kind of way. I said, "Yes, you are, but you're going to be ok."  He was satisfied with that, and just laid down. We propped a pillow under his neck, so blood wouldn't run into his face and put ice on his brow.

I will say... ICE is the first remedy in this house.  For almost everything. We kept changing out wet cloths into the freezer for his head, and before long, he stopped bleeding.  This is the first time I didn't rush to clean the wound.  It was a corner cut, and I did not want to have to butterfly it, so I just left it.  You know, since I got the swelling down with the ice, I did not have to bandage it or butterfly it or anything?  I prayed for his wound, that the LORD would heal it quickly and take away the pain. I prayed that there would be no other injuries to his organs, nervous system, etc. in Jesus' Name, as I always do.

He was fine 20 min. later, and his wound healed up all by itself.  I give God all the praise.  This is the child who fell down the stairs from the top, and started to pass out, that the LORD, AGAIN kept His Hand upon.  I am so thankful. I am so grateful.  I am humbled that God heard my prayers. I just wanted to say Thank You LORD.  You are Almighty God.

I am so glad he is okay. I really do belive God is so honoring in the prayers over safety. Sometimes it may not seem so but he is always. I really grow to appreciate your sdd's and their loving hearts of the Lord . How blessed you are. I know I keep saying that but it is soooo rare to see. I stand Amazed.
In Him,
