HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY HUSBAND!!!!

   My fortunate Hubby: his birthday and Father's Day are usually in the same week! This year, he got to take his 2 weeks of vacation time (from both jobs-YAY!) this week and last.  And, 7ds1 will be a fortunate Daddy, too. His 1st birthday was ON Father's Day. 

   So, 2dd15-Jocelyn- made a cheesecake with oreo crust for a Father's Day Celebration and a chocolate cake with yellow, cream cheese frosting for BabyBoy's 1st bday on Sunday. Matt wanted a DQ ice cream cake, and if there is enough ice cream left - SuperAngel -Amanda- really needed some ice cream last night - I was going to mold him an ice cream cake. I even got his favorite - Butter Pecan.

   He really likes stars, so the children painted some star hooks to hang on the wall, and we bought letters to spell out daddy for them to paint. 6ds2.9 -Isaac -was so proud of the back of the star that he painted!! 

 He also got a cushioned bike seat - the girls are trying to bribe him to take them on more bikerides...

    I thought, as an added Blessing for my wonderful husband (probably moreso for me), I would list some wonderful things about him:

• He has a good sense of humor, and is a funny guy.
• He is very handsome.
• He is such a hard worker.
• He desires to lead his family to the LORD.
• He plays with his children.
• He is a neat - as in clean - guy
• He takes my children to get me gifts for Mother's Day, Christmas and my birthday, letting them know he thinks I am special.

  

• Speaking of gifts, he got me that Ergo I wanted, and I really love it! He also got me a cell phone, and we can chat more often that way.
• He is generous.
• He is artistic.
• He has sided almost the whole house; we roofed 1/2 of it together; and we all helped him hang drywall. So, I guess, as  much of a perfectionist as he is, I am blessed that he lets our children do things like that!
• He has always been there at our births, and he even took the plunge as we had our last 2 at home. 
• He is a great encouragement.

Ok, I could go on. But, I have to save some things for another post!

He ( your hubby) sounds like a really nice guy. I am glad you gang and you have him. I am so glad you posted a pic of their art work. 2dd was telling me about it. I am extending the open door policy to you and your family- All of you! , to come up to CANADA . I am glad you and your dd's have befriended me. Well bfn.

I have firefox browser and I can not see your webpage correctly since you have redone it. The lines tend to run together (overlap) frames vertically and the middle text gets cut off on the right side. I keep my screen set at 1280x800 but that wouldn't matter because the HTML dictates the width. I can start using IE to access your page, but just thought I would let you know (since your older layout worked just perfect). You look like you have a lot of knowledge in your webpage and design so you might know a quick fix. Then again you're a busy busy lady =) Thanks for your time, I read your blog as often as I can!

Tell your wonderful DH happy birthday! My own dh's bday is Friday so they are similar in that regard. I'll have to think of a few encouraging words for my dh to read on the blog :) My list can't match yours unfortunately, you have a great guy there.
