Yes, well, interesting to me, because, as my comment reflects:
What A Timely Post!
Since we had a HOARD of flying ants in our bathroom last night, and some regular, old, wingless ones that came through an uncovered door frame and made - you guessed it!!! - AN ANTHILL - in our bathroom...
INCREDIBLE!!
Ever had an anthill in your house?? I don't mean from the food left on the floor - or the trail of little worker ants carrying the crumbs 5 times their size in a neat little line...
Noooo- I mean an ANTHILL. About 6 inches in diameter, 2 inches high, with ants coming and going. And, they made it out of little wood shavings, I think, from the wood around the door.
So, I spray all of the ants I see... clean them up, then, I return a bit later... and THERE WERE TWICE AS MANY as before!
Now I get the whole 'busy as an ant' thing.
Tigerlily was up with me, and said how she needed to blog about this. I said sure she could, after she finds out and tells me what they are doing! So, now she can read my post, go to MommylovesRJ, and post about it! She'll probably want to find a few more details in some books, though...
Anyway, I thought I would just tell you of our insect excitement, since apparently, at least 1 other blogger is interested too!! Wasn't that the whole theme for the Spring 2006 issue of TOS Mag??? Bugs?
And, on a side note... she also had an idea to make a solar oven out of a pizza box! I gotta try that one!
