    Ok, call me weird.
     I like to do things the hard way... Not really; I just like to create things that will meet our needs, instead of improvising something someone else has already made. I am tired of buying things that I can only use 1/2 of or never use at all! I have tried to use homeschool planners, homeschool charts, course planners, etc. I always end up making up some other chart that is more suitable to our needs. I think someday I will compile them and share them... and maybe make some money.     ( ;

    So, as we were looking at the possibiliites of Amanda and Jocelyn going down to TN, my Dad said something about them needing an ID to get on the plane and their birth certificates if they are under 18. They had already gotten IN state IDs a couple of years ago to fly to NM with their dad, but it reminded me that I wanted to get them school IDs.
    I opened up the Microsoft Word to start making them IDs, and thought I might take a look at what others had done. In googling homeschool student IDs, I came across several links. One of them has Coie's old school id on it. Kinda' funny to find. Amanda had already seen it. She showed me the ad in TOS. She's become more of a detail person than I am, I guess.

    I then came across the CHASE SC HOMESCHOOL ASSOC. site that I want to share, because it has more than just school ID cards on it. I found it a year or so ago, and it was helpful in getting ideas going for different planners and such. You can print their forms off for free, and even though it is for SC, it still has a lot of good information and such you might want to look at.

So, do you have school IDs for your children? I decided not to put all of their personal info on them. There are several places online you can order them from instead of making your own, too. I am just going to print them off on thicker card stock and laminate them. Won't be too hard.

ID cards seem like a really good idea in many ways!

How are you? You are in my daily thoughts and prayers! Can't wait to make an afghan for your new little one. I have not been feeling like crocheting lately, but I am sure I'll be back in the routine again soon!

My SIL is going to start homeschooling and I am forwarding this post to her. I told her you can homeschool with just the internet.
