Can We Direct Caesar's Money?
In light of Gena's post I linked below, I had a friend comment to me on the way our gov't uses tax money. You will have to read all about the money side in Gena's post.
I have a question for you:
Do you expect the government and the public school system to manage our tax dollars the way we as Christians - and church entities - are expected to by God?
My answer is pretty much : NO. It would be nice, but we are not of this world, and they are not of the Body. Of course, being involved in legislation and voting are good ways to voice your opinion and maybe change things, but they will never adhere to God's laws or expectations.
"Render unto caesar that which is caesar's , i.e.: tax $$, and unto God that which is God's, i.e.: our children."
Why do we have that backwards?
