Snow Forces Families Together
With all of the snow falling so fast around the country last week, we really didn't do anything differently than we do daily here. We enjoy spending time together. We enjoy learning and working with each other. Of course, I'd rather *not* take the dog out in 3 feet of snow, blowing, freezing, etc., but it didn't change our lives that much!
Dana blogged about the hullabaloo about the poor ps parents who have to 'put up' with their children since school is out and they are going nuts.
Sad. So sad. They hardly get to see their children, and they can't wait to get them back into school and out of the house.
What is wrong with people???
Snow Forces Families Together
"Parents are described as "imprisoned" and "frustrated." The children are restless, and getting bored. One reports missing school. After all, she wants to see her friends (not learn, she made that point clear)."
My reaction: Whatever. Same reaction you'll get from me at the end of summer when parents are "so ready for their kids to go back to school..."
Be Blessed as you stay home with your children and win their hearts for the Lord!

When I first read that, I didn't think much of it because it really was written as a slightly humorous piece. But the more I thought about it, the more it bothered me. That really is how a lot of people think and you hear it constantly. Even as they complain in front of their children.
It is a sad condition.
