How Do They Grow So Fast??
Lucy is a month old today... boo hoo... sob sob...
Do you know what I mean? I blinked and she is a month old. I'll blink again, she'll be 2m old, then 6m, then walking and talking as a 2 year old. Rachel said, "Quit blinking." Easier said than done.
Yet, as a parent, we only have those blinks. That is what we have to work with. That is the time given. If we are sleeping instead of watching, we will lose that time. The bad thing is, we won't realize we have lost it. It will just be gone and all we will be able to do is look back with regret.
That is definitely something I do *not* want to do!
I have recently found several posts and articles in my reading about time management and schedules or daily routines. I have also seen a lot about the school year ending and working outside in the garden...etc....
I think the Lord is trying to tell me something. For the past few years, I had many things scheduled in our lives. I had schoolwork scheduled, chores and chore times, meals, everything I could.
I will be posting about this more in depth soon...
As soon as I get a daily schedule worked out!!!
