I was looking through my CBD Homeschool catalog. I have decided that I will try to but the majority of homeschool purchases through the TOS Store, unless I find some huge savings elsewhere or they just don't carry it. That is, except for HOW products. Those I will buy directly from Robin's store. I did find a used copy of From Adam to Abraham on HomeschoolBuy.com that I was pretty ecstatic about... speaking of which, I really need to list my used homeschool books on there.... I have a bunch of books and Vision Forum cd's to sell.

Anyway, CBD is having this big sale, and a friend is ordering from there, so I just finished up looking online at the products that interested me in the catalog.

I found some good sets of books on horses and horse training. Amanda is going to do a portfolio/binder on info she has learned since she has had The Girls, as she refers to them.

She was pretty excited last week, as we talked about mixing our own feed for them. She got to use math - and her knowledge of what is good for horses or not, while she looked through her horse handbook. What was exciting was that she used algebra in application, instead of a textbook. It was encouraging that *she* noticed it.

They have a LOTR set that we bought for Jocelyn last year and I would like to buy a couple more sets of for gifts... we'll see.

There were some Exploring Science books that I can use or they can read for less than $5.00.

I was looking at the KJV/Hebrew/Greek Bible, too... just 'cause. For me, because I have looked here and there, and I figured CBD would have one, which they did. It wasn't as costly as I thought it would be.
