The Blogger Reflection Award Hosted By Jocelyn DixonI was awarded this by my lovely daughter, Jocelyn. As you will read, she came up with this award in response to the secular award Thinking Blogger. The funny thing was that a friend of hers came up with the exact same idea and posted it the same day she was going to post hers. I guess that's why they're friends!Anyway, please take a look at this. Visit her site. I am sure you will start seeing these beautiful awards (made by some homeschooled young men) all over blogland!!! _________________________________________________________________ The Blogger Reflection Award Hosted By Jocelyn Dixon I was given the Thinking Blogger Award several times (five times to be exact) but I didn't know too much about the site it was from. My good friends, Eric and Paulie, informed about the secular and ungodly things posted at the point of origin. They also imformed me that they would not accept the award so I decided to start my own. We need to be aware who we are linking and get away from the worldliness of non-believers and not endorse that site. Of course, great minds think alike, and Eric came up with the same idea (weird) except his award is called: The Blogging With Purpose Award (which I will do soon, promise, Eric). As for my award, it is called The Blogger Reflection Award. Why? The reason for the title is because this award should make you reflect on five bloggers who have been an encouragement, a source of love, impacted you in some way, and have been a Godly example to you. Five Bloggers who when you reflect on them you get a sense of pride and joy... of knowing them and being blessed by them. This award is for the best-of-the-best so consider who you pick, carefully. This award should not be given to just anyone. If you're going to do the award don't just write a few words and slap it on your blog. Write real thoughts about these bloggers and what they've been to you, and if the bloggers you pick have already been given the award, don't be afraid to give to them again. They deserve it as many times as it's given. Rules of participating: 1. Copy this post. 2. Replace [my bloggers with yours] & Reflect on five bloggers and write a least a paragraph about each one. 3. Make sure you link this post so others can read it and the rules. 4. Go leave your chosen bloggers a comment and let them know they've been given the award. 5. Put the award icon on your site [below] Now, you may wonder why there are three award icons... I had such a hard time choosing between them that I am decided to put them all on. Paulie made the first one and my tech guy made the other two. 1: Aren't they great?! Codes: 1: 2: 3: So take which ever you like! And there should be no spaces on the codes except the 'a' and the 'h'... to make the image work. Here are the very first achievers of this award... Since I was given it so many times [I would have to do 25bloggers to complete them all] I am doing fifteen to get the ball rolling. So go ahead and copy this post and redo your Bloggers who you reflect on with admiration. _________________________________________________________________ OK... The VERY FIRST ACHIEVERS are listed on Jocelyn's blog... I will be doing my 5-10 recipients in the next few days. I received the Thinking Blogger award 4 times between my 2 blogs. I honestly can't remember all 4 of you who gave it to me... I've had a bit going on with the birth of a new Babe! Here is what Jocelyn had to say if you would like to just put the Reflection Blogger Award on your blog: Note: if you did the Thinking Blogger Award or were given it but did not participate - you are welcome to use this Award instead and spread the word! Be VERY Blessed!!! -Jacque Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 339 of 595 } { Next Page } |
