Can You Say Steam Engine?
He is 2 years old.
He plays hard, gives sweet kisses, loves to be outdoors, loves to be in the barn, eats like a big boy (even salad), snuggles, cuddles, talks well, comes when I call him. He is like a steam engine. He goes - goes - goes. He goes when you want him to slow down. He is a full-steam ahead little toddler.

And, then you blink...
and he is asleep.
I sat blogging tonight, watching this little sweetie running back and forth. "Keep him downstairs." "Get him." "Come here, Caleb."
Then we were going upstairs a *couple of minutes later*, and Amanda picked him up from the couch -"Is he sleeping?" I asked, in complete surprise.
"Yes."
All I could say is, "He is like a steam engine."
Amanda laughed out loud.
"Full-speed ahead.... CHUG CHUG CHUG... then outta' steam."
Aren't they awesome?

now that is one real boy if I ever saw one! I have one of those myself! lol His poor sister doesn't know where he came from! Amazing how different each child is.

So, what is my almost-two-year-old, then? He goes goes goes, and I still have to *make* him go to sleep, he *never* runs outta steam?!? What kind of engine is that? LOL
