Walking Therein

Wednesday, July 4, 2007 - Lucy's New "Jumpy-Jumpy" Seat

We had a great visit with Paul and Gena and their wonderful children. Amanda and Rachel blogged all about it, as you probably already saw. I think Amanda has a gazillion pictures or something! -Not to mention the little knife-throwing video Paulie taped...

The visit was too short, as usual, but they did come back, lol, a couple of hours later, since *ahem* one of the boys, *ahem* not saying who... left his bag here. Of course, this was after Matt, Eric and Amanda had already run the chess game to them that he left. Too bad we didn't see his suitcase!

Anyway, Paulie called and told us they were going to just come and get it. I tried to talk Gena into letting us meet her 1/2-way, but.... well, I think she just wanted to give Little LucyLillie a "little" gift!

I know she has been hinting yesterday and today that she really wants to see her in it. (I guess she figures since Paulie got us that camera last month that we have the means to get some pics on our blog, eh?) hehehe...

Well, I agree, and I actually would have gotten them on yesterday, if I had gotten the Homesteading Carnival up sooner!! We took pics as soon as we got the box out to put it together!

Here we are getting it all put together. I had lots of help!

Isaac and Caleb both separated the toys, took them out of boxes and found out where each toy went.

Caleb was really helping by keeping her company.

She was just laying there, smiling, waiting for us to finish

And, Lucy in her "jumpy-jumpy":

 Playing with Caleb

She looks so little in it! Maybe because she won't be 3m for a few days still!

She loved the blue gecko-thingy!

She kept trying to get it through the plastic.

I think Eric, Hannah, Isaac and Caleb really loved it too!

It has really cute animal sounds and plays music and lights up. We really do love it. It isn't annoying. It has great settings for the volume and length of play. I love all of the Rainforest noises and the fact that it has lizards, tropical birds... it is really cute! Thank you to all of you.

Can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks - whomever of you decides to come!
She's been wearing the bibs already, too... but that's another post...

blessings! Jacque
