Plans Today
We have been busy this past week, since Matt is on vacation. He has been in the 'new part', working on the electricity. We were hoping to get more done of it this week, but he had to tear out a wall and split the electricity in one of th bathrooms. The original contractor made so many mistakes. We have had to re-do, add, remove. This last bit with the electricity has almost been too much for my dh.
The contractor decided not to put the gfi on its own wiring, and it just won't work. So, he had to rip out the wall in the bathroom and cut a portion out ofthe other. Then, he had to rip wiring apart and re-do that. He still isn;t finished, but he will haveto work on it tomorrow.
TODAY, we get to go meet Brielle of Step Into Brielle's Wardrobe, a fellow blogger young lady. She wrote, saying she was going to be in MI, and we are only an hour and a half from MI, so we asked where, Then she let us know she would be in IN, and we worked it out to meet up with her an hour from us in Shipshewana. It's like an Amish marketplace where you can get all sorts of things. I've not been there, but heard about it for years.
So, we will be traveling today; it should be fun!! Amanda, Jocelyn and Rachel are so excited! Hopefully we can get a wireless connection along the way! LOL
Blessings!

Sounds like fun. Did I ever mention that I lived in Michigan for most of my childhood? I lived in Muskegon from age 6 until age 10 and then I lived in White Pigeon from age 10 until I was almost 13. (then we moved to Idaho!)
But we are familiar with the Amish country. I loved it. I loved when we would go into Indiana and the Shipshewana area! Just hearing about it brings back happy memories!

Shipshewana is a place I used to frequent! My dad still does. We have a family business (cider mill) in suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. We purchase a bunch of apple butter every year from the Amish in Shipshewna to sell at our mill.
