    Wow. I typed this up a few days ago, not knowing how my week was going to go, things that would happen in my life or my friends'. I could not have told you which song I picked a few minutes ago. I must tell you, as I sit here, ready to post this, I am feeling Broken and Spilled Out. God is so good to me and to our family. We deserve none of it, but He is so good.

    He has given us good friends we didn't even know a year ago. He is taking care of us, when we are walking upright and when we fall. I so cannot relate to how My Lord felt being broken and wasted on me, but I am thankful and grateful that He afforded me the honor.

    We watched Saving Private Ryan and Flags of Our Fathers last week. What sacrifice and ruthlessness. The savage murder of innocent human lives and the selfless giving of those lives for a higher calling. God is there. God is in the savage murder and the selfless giving. He is there to show us who He is and how He gave His only Son for us. He did not cause the savage murders, but He allows us to see His sacrifice, His mercy, and His love in spite of it all.

Broken and Spilled Out
