Hannie's Tribute: A Tribute To My Dad
Hannah Grace, age 7
Mom told me a Tribute is writing good things about someone. I am going to write a tribute To my Father.
My Dad is a good Father. He does a lot of things for us. He helps us
A Dad should work 'cause it's his job, and so we can have food and places to sleep. My Dad works all day. He works very good and very well.
My Dad is a good driver. He will put his seat belt on when I ask him to. I like going places with my dad.
My Dad is a good cook. The last time he cooked, I watched him. I stirred the eggs and the meat. We cooked for breakfast.
I love my dad because he loves me.
Love, Hannah
Here are all of the Tribute to My Dad essays that my children did:
Amanda
Jocelyn
Rachel
Eric
Hannah
Thank you, Amanda and Paulie for hosting this.... great idea, AM1!!!!
blessings, Jacque

Hi Mrs. Dixon, I have been reading your blog for a long time and never left a comment. I am not very good at leaving comments. I love your blog, and all of your daughters' blogs as well, Jocelyn has been a great encouragement to me.
Hannah's tribute was so sweet! I love it!
Keep doing what you do, God is really using you.
Love,
Kittyqueen
P.S., i was one of the people who checked several times a day for a name for LucyLillie when she was born! |

About Me

The scoop on me: Believer for 20 years; married 19 years; 8 children so far, hoping for more; live on a great hobby farm, with 7 goats, 2 dogs and 68 chickens. Oh, and 1 bathroom. That's always fun. :)
The scoop on our homeschool: Bible-first, Living Learning Moments, meaning if it happens, it's a lesson. We learn life! How long have we been homeschooling? Well, our oldest is 18. How much longer do we have to go? Well, our youngest is almost 1. We love it and wouldn't have it any other way.
