I have these great posts about books for different ages (links below) with a Mr. Linky on each of them - because THAT's what makes them great - The links to all of the other posts with book lists!
So, Amanda decided she was going to blog her list, for which I am grateful, because she has read more books than I have in several years, and she has a great list for her age group! She has more info on her post, such as pages and numbers in the series.
Need I tell you what an impact books have on a mind? I think not. Nor do I have to tell you the importance of the content they are reading, because reading, in itself, puts you right there in the book. Have you found, that like tv, we must stay away from 'mental' places - even in books- that we should not go. Even our older children, who are still learning to guard their hearts... and maybe even moreso now that is becoming more fully their own responsibility, and not just Dad's and Mom's.

So, here is the Young Adult books List, to which I will be adding as I find more, I am sure!

In writing the post to answer a question about the books my 10yo son is interested in reading, I thought it would make a good Mr. Linky so we could pass it around and share our experiences and ideas in a Book List post. I also learned recently that you can share Mr. Linkies! That means that you can put these particular Mr. Linkies on the bottom of your post about the books you like for your family and children and as the list is added to on any blog, it will be added to on all of them! Won't that be a fun resource for all of us homeschool families and, well, everyone?

If you are a homeschooled child, you are also welcome to participate! Please write up your post telling which books you really enjoy and put it into the appropriate Mr. Linky.
Make sure you link the particular post URL to your name, so we can find it later, too.
