Blogger Friends School - Assignment #2

Last week we “dreamed” about our special place to blog! This week we are going to stretch some of that dream into reality. The purpose of this assignment is learn to accept our surroundings as God gave them to us and creatively make them a special place to preserve those heartfelt memories.

“If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.”
Job 36:11 KJV
A. Look at your “dream” place last week and using your creative juices and things in or around your home, CREATE a special place to blog. Most good writers have a location that is a comfort to them and makes their writing time enjoyable and productive. Share some quick ideas!
My Dream Place from Assignment #1 was:
I'd actually blog outside right now if I had wireless and the mosquitos were gone. My dream is not about a place, but a time. A time when there are no other needs.
That is why you will find me, like a zombie, sucking on Dr. Pepper or a carmel iced-cafe mocha at 2am (when I'd rather sleep then and get up at 6am), because I am not needed for a dozen other things at that time or chasing Caleb from the refrigerator to the bathroom, back to the kitchen, where he is looking for something - anything - to drink, including my Dr. Pepper.
So, peace at 2am, until Lucy (or Isaac or Caleb) wake up and I am called away.
Now I must create a special place to blog. My special place at the time is in our office/computer room. That is where the desktop is. It is always a mess, tho. It will take a bit of time and organization and keeping the Littles out of here and task upon the girls to not just put things in here.
I would love to blog on our laptop. Our new laptop. But, it is on the fritz. Still. That would be easy. I have a whole room upstairs to make pretty and blog on the laptop. but for now, the office will suffice.
Ok.... I am so late getting this assignment in, but I hope I can post pictures of my real special place! We took the laptop into Best Buy on sunday, and we figured out at least how to get online! YAY! I told Matt when we got in there, that all I want is to just blog upstairs in the family room again - and he finished my sentence with - "yes, like you used to"! Exactly!
B. Once you have created that special place…SHARE A PICTURE of where you blog. Remember to be creative! {I REALLY look forward to seeing this creativity. Some of you last week shared some really neat imaginative posts and I know that this will be a challenge!}
C. Share a verse this week that is upon your heart!
1 Corinthians 1: 10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
EXTRA CREDIT FUN: Make a commitment to visit 10 classmates this week! If you make this commitment AND leave them a comment put an “*” (asterisk) by your name when signing Mr. Linky! Visit 20 classmates put TWO “**” by your name.

blessings! -Jacque

I was late too. We had to rush out of town last Friday and I was already late then, but I just got mine sent in on Tuesday, I didn't post about it since I used an older picture of when Gerald first built my desk for me. So, how are you? We don't get to talk anymore.
