Since I am so busy...
I have been busy doing things, things, things.... so busy, you know.
Things like: Holding Lucy; holding Caleb more (since I realized, "Hey, he's only 2; he is still a baby too!"); updating and adding to our Dixon Courses for high school; writing a review for Senior High: A Home-Designed Form+U+La by Barbara Edtl Shelton; measuring the chicken stall to get it winter-proofed; taking pictures of our children and journaling and blogging about them; getting back on track reading my Bible in the morning; re-doing my template; praying about and readying our family to move in the next year (be it God's will); moderating the HSB Literary Club blog; emcouragin friends and being encouraged by friends on the tele, email and the IM; writing for The Girlhood; writing drafts for HWTB; eating Rachel's midnight cookies... you see, I have been really busy!!!
So, since I do not have draft finished to post here, I will direct you to some other blogposts:

CARNIVAL OF HOMESCHOOLING!
Dana is hosting this edition of The Carnival of Homeschooling at Principled Discovery.
AND The HOMESTEADING CARNIVAL!
Don't forget to look at the great posts on The Homesteading Carnival, hosted by Yours Truly!
***Get your homestead-y posts in to Rachel this weekend! She is hosting the next Homesteading Carnival!****
Another thing Amanda, Jocelyn and I have been involved in is The Homeschool Blog Awards site. Sprittibee has gathered some friends -and fellow bloggers- and re-made the HSBA site. It has been fun getting to be a part of it and getting to know some other homeschool moms! Click a link below to get to know them better too!
Don't forget to nominate your Favorite Family-Friendly Homeschool Blogs for the 2007 Blog Awards. You only have until the 17th, so get over there and nominate! If you need to know the categories:
After you check those out and decide who to nominate for what, read the Nomination Rules and use the Nomination Form:

Something I did not know last year, when I first heard about these awards is that the winners in each category walk away with some very nifty prizes. Were you aware of that? And, those of us who blog there are also eligible, so go on over and take a look at the sidebar and see who has donated prizes for the winners. Nominate and then vote... what a way to bless fellow homeschoolers and families!

I am supposed to host a blog interview and review of Sonya Haskins' book, The Homeschooler's Book of Lists this month (which I will tell you - I already love it!), so be looking for that coming soon!
Sonya recently got a blog here at HSB. It is The Homemaker's Cottage. Go on over and welcome her to our blogging community!
Oh, and lest I forget... I am working on my Saturday Psalm & Praise for tomorrow! Please join me!!
blessings! -Jacque
