Saturday Psalm & Praise -Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:2
We closed our prayer time this afternoon with Lord, please show us what we are to do today to complete your will for our day. This was after we read Romans chapters 1 and part of two. It was apparent to each of us that we are not in control of things. We do make our own choices, but God is ultimately the God. We should strive to live a holy life, but we are so imperfect that will never happen. all we can do is to lean on Jesus. all we can do is turn our eyes and our hearts to Him.

O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
O’er us sin no more hath dominion—
For more than conquerors we are!
