My Poor Little Guy

I will try to get a more detailed update up here soon. I have one started, but I am too tired to find it and add to or edit it. So, I will leave you with this little bit of info about Caleb: Last night was hard on me and on Caleb. Neither of us slept well. I don't know if Caleb is doing better or not. He is with the influenza (I think), but his chest hurts, and I don't know if this is a flu pain or rsv or pneumonia. He was up several times last night. I don't know if he really knows what hurts. I hated hearing his breathing tho.
He really needs to rest. I know this is viral. There is nothing really to be done about viral, except rest and fluid intake... sigh. I need to rest too.
I think we may have a movie day upstairs for the older kids and let Caleb, Lucy, Jocelyn and me rest downstairs. Eric has been wanting to watch True Grit, and I know he is tired of the Lone Ranger and The Cisco Kid being on all the time for Caleb. :)

Like I said in my last post: though Caleb is doing much better, I am still worried about him. Having viral influenza can lead to other things at his age(like RSV), and I am obviously concerned. I know God can heal him, and I am thankful He has kept him and is strengthening his immune system. We have been battling this with Caleb since the 25th, and it is really not easier on me. He needs his rest, and I am concerned about his breathing. sigh. So pray for me too. And LucyLillie, who needs momma when she has to hold brother!

I'm continuing to pray for your family and especially Caleb and mommy. I also ask for prayers for our family, please as we are suffering similarly. I think I may have pneumonia myself.

May the Lord cast His Healing upon our families and we give HIM praise for His strength to endure.

Dearest Jacque - We are still praying for your dear family and are trusting our Lord to bring you ALL back to full health. Thank you SO much for sharing your sweet Amanda today, what a blessing she was for us!! I wish I had known how much you were still struggling . . . blessings to you ALL! :)

Praying for you Jacque! I know I'm nagging, but make sure you take him to the hosp. asap if his lips look blue or under his fingernails. My oldest was around that age and had bronchitis and needed an inhaler to use at home.
