Loolie's Party by Jocelyn Dixon

We had a grand time for Luli's birthday, and I can't NOT post photos of it.

On Sunday we had my Grt Grandparents over, along with Grandpa and his wife, Dorothy. They weren't going to be able to Luli's actual party so they just came over to spend time with us for awhile.

Aww...Kisses

We don't get to see my Grt Grandparents too often because they live nearly two hours away, but we really enjoy our time with them. Hopefully this summer we'll be able to get together more often, and since Amanda has her license we'll be able to drive up and help them with housework.

My Grandma is quite a character. She has loosened up quite a bit over the past five years and really does love being around us and doesn't mind the chaos so much anymore. I am so thankful for the relationship I have with her. It will be something I treasure forever. I am praying that before she passes away she will give her life to Jesus so we can spend eternity together.  And this is the same grandma who is on the Feelin' Feminine icon. I showed her my blog and told her about it (and about how you girls have it on your blogs) and she blushed. Haha.

My Grandpa is quite a character too. He will be 89 in September and is still so full of life and laughter. He adores playing with the kids and is always saying something to me make laugh. I truly love them.

On Monday, we had Luli's party, but it wasn't a large gathering... only fourteen people (haha that's ten for us). I was really excited about Luli's party because some bloggers we'd met online were coming. It is such a warm feeling to finally be able to meet someone you've been talking and sharing your thoughts with through emails. Emily Rose and her sister, Breezy, are two of the funnest young ladies I have met. When the Blue_Eggs first arrived we all kinda stood around and say very little. Breezy asked if we should get our computers out so we could send a few messages to each other! Haha. After awhile we all warmed up to each other and there wasn't a moment I saw either of the girls without one of the Littles clinging to them.

We didn't take too many photos.... we did go see the goats and the chickens. Then we came in and made dinner, spaghetti, and then we did the cake.

Opening presents. Lucy has her card again. Luli got some very pretty spring outfits from Grandma Starr & the Blue_Eggs. One of the outfits were even the same! Haha She also got a beautiful purple sweater from the Blue-Eggs

After cake and ice cream, Emily Rose and I got on Photoshop so Emily Rose could show me a few things. I am so excited because I did my first transparent image! That had been one of my main goals in getting a graphics program, and you can see the transparent image on SuperAngel's left sidebar, under "Published Articles".

Breezy doing what she does best.... drawing. She did a few really lovely drawings for the boys and Hannie.

We had a blast while they were here. And finally I found a blogger is the same height as me. Hehe.

Emily Rose and the Boys. Yeah she was a favourite. Haha

In short Luli had a wonderful birthday, though she did sleep a lot because she was warm and a little grouchy. Mother Dear thinks she's getting a toofer.

Fortunately it wasn't too hard saying goodbye to the Blue_eggs because they're most likely coming back for my birthday party, which will be so much fun too. Are you coming? If you received the email invitation and know whether are not you cannot make it, please email me back. The suspense is killing me!
