J and R learn at home!

This and That

Foot Update:  I'm doing better... walking on crutches is harder than it looks!  I can actually limp around now without them, for the most part, and the swelling is down.  So I'm very thankful that I will hopefully be able to drive again by Tuesday for Bible study, and that I did not break my foot!

A Like List:  If anyone is interested in joining ALikeList, it's a fairly new website that has lists of places that people like and recommend.  I was invited by someone else through a writing group that I'm in, so I thought I'd pass around the word.  If you click on the link to it, I will get some sort of credit for having referred you... though I'm not sure for what!  I'll let you know if people sign up!  LOL

We've been mostly lying low and hanging out.  We made Halloween shaped sugar cookies this afternoon, and homemade pizza for dinner.  We played Yahtzee and made our own board game out of butcher paper.  I think that's about it!

Have a good weekend!

About Me

Welcome to our blog! I'm Michelle, wife to John (usually called Dad around these parts, and also in this blog). We have two awesome, silly kids: J, our son, who is 8 1/2, and R, our daughter, who is 6. I'm also a freelance writer who enjoys scrapbooking and reading in my spare time. This blog was started several years ago in Florida, but we moved back to our native Connecticut a year ago this spring. Come see how we spend our days, and what types of things my fingers come up with when I take a few minutes to blog. Enjoy!
