Book Sale finds and a good site

I went to a book sale on Tuesday and found many treasures for our next school year. First Language Lessons with CD by Jessie Wise ($15), Handbook of Nature Study ($8), Drawing with Children ($15) and some Dover Coloring books ($5) and Superman found some Frog and Toad reader for $3. Starting in September we will begin a regularly scheduled day of homeschool. The days right now are so unpredictable and chaotic that we are doing school when the moment allows. Superman is doing really well and I am excited to get into some other things this coming school year. Little T-rex will also begin doing a little bit with us to begin building a good foundation.

I love a good book sale! Or when you hit a garage sale that has a ton of books for a dime or something. My find for today was a new homeschool store. Not only is it LOCAL-- instead of driving 30-45 minutes away, but it had almost every single title I've been wanting to browse. Oh AND they bought a bunch of my old books and stuff. It has been an absolutely lovely day!

I LOVE booksales. In fact, that is the only way that I get most of my books. If there is a book sale anywhere around, I will scrounge up all my loose change and head that way. Glad you got some good finds!

Wow-those are great deals! I really really liked reading your post below about what the teacher learned. Sometimes during our homeschooling I believe I am learning more than they are and finding that God is teaching me things I never learned, but needed to and continue to need to. Holly
