2007/2008 Year at a Glance

I am so amazed that I actually did this!! I have the whole school year planned! Well, not planned to the "T" but planned enough for me! Hey, that rhymed :0). Usually I start planning and then become so overwhelmed and throw it out the window and just wing it. Woo hoo, this year is going to be different. I was trying to figure out how to do all this planning/organizing stuff and made a visit to Trivium Academy who generously shares her plans and how she organizes her homeschool and household. I know that God has blessed so many of us with her willingness to share. I got the year at a glance idea from Jessica and she got it from Jenefer at Smooth Stone's Academy, thank you both for sharing.

Ideally I would like to finish in 34 weeks (yeah right, ha ha) which is 6 weeks shorter than planned, having our school year end May 31 instead of July 11 or so, giving us 3 months off. Or less... I would actualIy like to start earlier like in the begining of August for next year.  We will see how it goes and during I might try to compact some lessons together in History and Science to help us finish up earlier or I could just go all year this year.... we will see, that doesn't sound to appealing to me. The SW stand for Spelling Power and I haven't decided what we will do about that running over like it is. I am thinking about just continuing it until we finish so we can start Workout C next year fresh. Our Nature Study will consist of trips taken to parks (hopefully with friends) where we will enjoy God's creation and journal about what we observe.

Now, I am working on finishing our Weekly Schedule and I might do a year in advance for my little T-Rex but haven't decided, just to keep me accountable, nothing more.
