I finally made out an extensive list that I believe will entertain and secrectly teach my little T-Rex. He is 3 years old and has a very short attention span. Here is my list:
- Squeeze art: flour, water, food coloring and cookie sheet.
- Paper and laundry basket.
- Color, Letter, Number, Dinosaur, Car ect. Treasure hunt
- Neighbor hood walk hunt: paper, magazine clippings, marker and clip board. Cut and paste things that might be seen on a walk down the street and then mark them off when found. Adapt for both boys.
- Piggy bank and coins.
- Scissors and paper. Keep the scraps.
- Play dough and tools
- Pool, water, tools and toys.
- Coffee filter, water, food coloring, eye dropper.
- Magnet, paper clips, ect.
- Bean bags and a bucket.
- An assortment of socks.
- Empty shoe box with cord tied through and end for an instant wagon.
- Big and little cardboard tubes with ball or car.
- Rice and tools.
- Beans and tools.
- Little legos.
- Big legos.
- Blocks to build BIG BIG castles!
- Cars and mat.
- Tweezers and pom pom balls.
- Different colored buttons and little cups to sort them.
- Dino play.
- Big floor puzzles.
- Tractor book puzzles.
- Regular puzzles.
- Paper plate design: glue, décor and paper plate.
- Stamping good fun.
- Fun with stickers!
- Trains.
- Aquadoodle.
- Rubbing Art.
- V-Smile
- Book on tape with headphones.
- Dominoes activities.
- Bear manipulative.
- ABC foam puzzles.
- Money sort: quarter, nickels, dimes and pennies.
- Dry erase art.
- Light bright.
- Projector play.
- Potato heads
- Sand table.
- Envelope sorting.
- Chalk board.
- Magnet letters and animals.
- White crayon on black paper.
- Gloop play.
- Ice, eye dropper, spray bottle and pool.
- Beads colored sort.
- Clothes pin and clothes line.
- Paper and pencil.
- Stencils and sponge with colored water.
- Leaf or other rubbings.
- Gadgets from kitchen to explore.
- Bowls, objects and tongs.
- Wash dishes at sink.
- String painting.
- Pictures with colored glue on plastic so can be peeled off.
