His Reward

I've been away from my blog for so long! I have been trying to get organized (life-long quest) and prioritize and get some other projects done. I don't know if I've succeeded, but I just wanted to say to all my fellow bloggers - I'm still here. I'll try to post something more meaningful in the next few days. How do you wonder women find time to get it all done? With 5 kids each running in different directions - even one activity per kid is more than I can keep up with - church, homeschool, husband, keeping house, having a prayer life, much less my "own" projects (writing, making videos, blogging), I haven't figured out yet how to maximize my time in every area. I've tried flying and various methods of organization. This is something I am really praying about and asking God for wisdom on. I need to find ways of investing in things which bring me more time and money instead of taking them away. Any ideas???? Words of Wisdom???

Definitely no words of wisdom from me...just wanted to let you know that I think that is a lifelong quest for every woman here!

I have to limit my computer time (although it is still more than it should be)...I try to set certain times of day when I'll check e-mail/blog, read or do another project, lesson time with the kids, etc. Even when my head or my heart knows my priorities, it's hard for the rest of me to get in line!

Glad to see you back!
Love,
Marsha

Honestly I give you a lot of credit for just choosing to be home with your 5 kids. I think it's awesome. I will pray for you that God will bring a sense of peace to you. We can only do so much! I had a post a few weeks ago called "Help! Out of Balance." People gave really great advice about priorities. I can't remember if you visited then or not.
Wishing you rest and joy,
Michele

I know I can relate to the struggle of priorities too! And I only have two kids. I like to think of it all as a process so I don't get focused on feeling like a failure. Process of learning, growing, achieving. Pretty much a lump of clay being molded. Thanks for your thoughts.
