My Trip Journal

     Today our family took a field trip to Indian Springs and Dauset Trails.  Two other families joined us for our trip.  It was a very good trip.  We had a lot of fun!  Some of the things we did included swimming in Indian Springs creek, drinking the spring water, getting stung by hornets and going to Dauset Trails.  The only bad part of the day was the hornet attack and having to call EMS.

     We were on a nice hike and at the end of the attack hornets began to attack.  We think one of us stepped on their nest.  We ran in every direction trying to get away.  We ran for what seems like a long time with them chasing us.  One member of our group was stung about five times.  The stings were swollen and very painful by the time the EMS arrived.  But we were all fine a little while after the EMS left. 

What seems strange to me is that all of the other people on the trip got stung at least once, but not ONE of the Hutcheson family got stung.  Besides that it was a very fun trip and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
