Preparing You - 2 Corinthians 1:4
One of my recent devotional readings was from 2 Corinthians 1. This verse struck me as being very pertinent to single parents - especially those who have chosen to home educuate inspite of the odds.
"Who (God) comforteth us in all our tribulation that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God." 2 Corinthians 1:4
If we lean on the Lord for our comfort He is then preparing us to comfort others, through the same means. What a blessing and an encouragment this thought was to me.
