Linda Joyce Heaner of Abiding Hope Ministries
has begun to periodically put out an email newsletter for single
mothers. I receive this newsletter and find it to be a blessing.
Linda has also written an excellent book called God, I Need Help.
About her journey as a single mother. I have read it and strongly
recommend it to all single moms, whether homeschooling or not.

Oct. 5, 2006 Update on Our Ministry
While most of you know that my primary
focus is to minister to the needs of single homeschooling parents, the
Lord seems to be expanding and growing my ministry to include mentoring
families new to home education and to encouraging low income families
to take a step of faith to home educate. There are more and more
resources available almost daily to make home education a very possible
option for all of us who know that we need to bring our children home
where they belong so that we can train them up for the Lord.
If you know of resources that you don't see here, please leave me a
comment and I'll check them out and add them as seems appropriate.

Mar. 30, 2006 It's Not Impossible!
It is not impossible for single
parents to home educate. Nothing is impossible if the Lord is in
it, no matter what the world around you says.
Matthew 17:20
"And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say
unto you, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard see, ye shall say unto
this mountain, Remove hence to younder place; and it shall remove; and
nothing shall be impossible unto you."
Matthew 19:26
"And Jesus beheld them and said unto them, With men this is impossible,; but with God all things are possible."
Mark 10:27
"And Jesus looking unto them saith, "With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible."
Luke 1:37
"For with God nothing shall be impossible"
Luke 18:27
"And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God."
