Please pray for Catina, a homeschooling mom of 3 from Prince Edward Island. She has a brain tumour and is starting to undergo treatment. I can't remember exactly what kind of treatment, but I think it's a combination of naturopath and what you might call "standard" treatment. She is a born-again, saved by grace Christian, and has been such a wonderful encouragement to those who know her. She has an incredible sense of humour, and wants only for her Lord and Saviour to be glorified no matter what.

I never met Missey Gray, but it hit me hard because of what Catina's going through and the potential loss. She and I met for coffee one day last summer when she was passing through my city, and somehow, you pray fervently for those whose lives have touched you in a personal way. She is such a sweetheart.

Hi Jen,

You've never met me, but I know of you through Catina. She goes to our church and told me she had met you in Moncton once and thought you were really nice! You are on the CHB site too, right? So am I; thanks for posting this request on your blog; she has lots of people praying for her, I hope the Lord heals her! She is set to come home tomorrow from the States; I put a bit of an update on Carla's site. I just noticed on there that you have five children and are expecting blessing #6; that is so wonderful, Praise God for His goodness! We have five as well, whom we have always homeschooled (the Lord put that on my heart even before He saved me!). I really admire your courage in 'putting yourself out there' with the blog; I have one too (www.homeschoolonthebeach.com) but as you can see if you venture over there, have not been updating it very often :-( We need to get another computer, when dh is home he pretty much needs it all the time and I can always go on when he's not home, but who will do the housework....????Lol! Life is always interesting, that's for sure; well, take care and God bless you and little baby :o)
