Happily growing at home

Saturday-Jason gets home tomorrow!!!

Yesterday's entry disappeared into cyber-space, so here's a recap: Kate has 10 more days of antibiotics because she *still* has ear infections, poor girl. I am wondering (thanks to my Sonlight friends) if I should look into food allergies.  I am afraid that I'd find out she's allergic to chocolate milk, and she would be terribly unhappy about that. :(

Luther has been working hard pulling up carpet. It's slow going, but he's done quite a bit actually.

Today we are going to a birthday party for a friend from church. He's turning 5. He has the same name as my dear pooch who retired last year to my mother's house, so we have to say "Spencer the boy" and "Spencer the dog" to keep them straight. I hope that I can convince Spencer's older sister to babysit tomorrow night. :)

I've made very little progress on  The List. Somehow the time slips away from me! BUT I did manage to get both big black trash barrels filled and out to the curb, so that is good. They were *really* heavy, too.

I had a weird dream last night: A friend (just one of those random nameless people that turn up in dreams sometimes) had a house in which weird things were happening. After several weeks of this my mother and I were in her back yard talking about what was happening and I suggested that they find an exorcist. I said that the Roman Catholic church still has some as do some other denominations (I honestly don't know if that's true, but it was in my dream!). My mother said she didn't believe in demons , possessions or anything like that. We discussed  the issue for a while and then she decided I was possessed and she wanted to have an exorcism for me. ????? The next scene was me in a shower a la "Psycho" and then I woke up. Weird, huh?

They can be soooo weird! Last night I dreamed that my 15yo cat died. It was so sad. I actually hate to dream and like the night so much better when there's nothing...

Ear infections are no fun. Hope your daughter feels better soon.

Have you looked into using a chiropractor? Sometimes they can do an adjustment that drains the ear and no more rounds of antibiotics.
