Our trip to San Diego was fabulous! We stayed at Paradise Point again, which is an awesome resort. We spent lots of time sitting on the beach, playing in the water, collecting shells and making sand castles. We did go to Mission Beach as well. Paradise Point is on a bay, so the water is very calm. We had to go to "The Big Ocean" to have waves.
The boys had a great time playing with boogie boards and such. Howard's board hit him the face and knocked out his loose tooth. He was bummed that he couldn't find the tooth, however. I thought it was a fun way to loose a tooth-what a great memory!
So we got home and my beautiful school room was empty. Jason put down new flooring, which is really beautiful, BUT all of my bookcases, supplies, and books are in the garage! :O So I moved a few things yesterday and we started nevertheless. It wasn't a total loss, but getting back to reality after a great vacation is hard to do. I am hopeful that this year will be a chance for my children to learn a lot of new things and develop new skills. :)
