I have seen lots of great ideas for blogging on thankfulness this month, but this one REALLY challenged me. It is to list 1,000 things you are thankful for. WOW!!! 1,000!
I guess my first reaction was that I could never think of a THOUSAND things to be thankful for! Then, I thought, how sad. I have a truly blessed life and my blessings are so abundant that I can surely think of a mere 1000 things to list! So, I am going to try this... it may go well beyond this month, depending on how many things I can list at a time. Want to try it with me? Just go to HolyExperience and grab the graphic! And leave me a comment so I will know to come visit you!
so without further ado:
1. I am thankful for my life, for the blessing of being here.
2. I am so very thankful for my wonderful husband, Scott, who loves me, loves our children, and loves the Lord sincerely.
3. I am thankful for my daughter, Abbie, whose sweet spirit and gently nature is a gift to my heart, and whose feminine, beautiful girly ways bring out the girl in me.
4. I am thankful for my son, Luke, who blesses me with his smile, loving heart and fun-loving adventurous spirit.

21. OK, this is probably horriible that it is #21 instead of #1, but I have to be honest and go with the stream of consciousness way in which I have been writing this.... I am thankful for God, that He made a way for me to be in heaven despite my totally sinful nature, and thankful for Jesus because He is my Savior and He is that way that was made for me!
22. I am thankful for forgiveness. For big forgiveness, like that of Jesus' death and resurrection for me, and for littler forgiveness, like the fact that I know I am forgiven for every little wrong thing I do throughout the day. I am thankful that others can forgive me, and that I can forgive others, so that we can have restored relationships with each other.

30. I am thankful for traditions and celebrations!
31. I am thankful for sleep and rest!
And on that note, I am going to go to bed!
Seriously thankful that...
