One Thousand Gifts... #32-60

Posted in Inspiration
I am thankful for:
32.  Kids who get wild and crazy and have lots of fun.
33.  Times when kids are quiet, though few and far between :)
34.  All kinds of fruit
35.  Our family vacations at the beach and generous parents who provide them.
36.  The experience each time of being pregnant with my children, feeling them kick and wiggle, and being the only one who really knew them before they were born.
37.  Scrapbooking!  I LOVE IT!
38.  This cool new Creative Memories program that lets me scrapbook on my computer any time with no mess!!  I am having a blast with it!
39.  My daughter asking Jesus into her heart to be her Lord and Savior.
40.  A Christian marriage and home.
41.  Our co-op nursery school and the precious people I have met there
42.  Jokes
43.   Our YMCA's indoor water park that is so much fun for the kids to play in!
44.  The ability to continually learn and grow, and not having to just stay stuck where I am at any given time.
45.  Great fiction books and the friends I have made there.
46.  that my husband shares so many of my interests, and that we are such great friends.
47.  microwaves- what would I do without them?!!!
48.  cellphones- that I can be in touch with people any time and anywhere!
49.  Medical research and advances that make it possible for us to live life more comfortable, healthily, and treat illnesses more effectively than at any time in history.
50.  A furnace that still works even though it is more than 35 years old!
51.  so many choices and options in homeschool curriculum available, and all the resources out there that help me to homeschool!
52.  A great homeschool support group
53.  TOS magazine!!!  Without it, I wouldn't be nearly as hooked in with the homeschooling movement and other homeschoolers!
54.  My friend Angela, who just seems to know my heart and what I am thinking, and who blesses me with so many awesome resources and ideas, and just loves me... my Kindred Spirit!
55.  My friend Xuan, who is so understanding and loving, and just tons of fun, who I always feel like I can talk to and she really understands, who I don't ever fear is judging me, and who is just such a completely wonderful friend... another Kindred Spirit!
56.  My friend Jessica, who has been one of my dearest friends since high school, when we were young and silly... and who still loves me now that we are still silly but no longer young!
57.  My friend Amy, who is so loving and kind, who feels passionately about a lot of the same things I do, who always listens to me and encourages me.
58.  My friend Kim, who is a lot of fun, who helps me out of a pinch often, who loves my kids and loves me too!
59.  The fact that I can come up with more than 10 friends just off the top of my head who are truly Kindred Spirits and who love me and I love them... I AM BLESSED!
60.  My friend Mistie who has stuck with me through thick and thin, spurred me on in my business and in my faith, and all from 600+ miles away!

OK, I just realized that 1000 things is a LONG list!  Next post on this is going to be restricted to 1 word items and go fast!

I am having fun with this, though!  I have already found myself noting things throughout my day to be thankful for... and that is something to be thankful for in and of itself!  (Since that was not numbered, I get to use it later! ;) )

This is a really nice meme! I pray that my last comment was received ok. By the writing in your post, it seemed as though you have a GREAT sense of humor. On the other hand, I hope you don't think I was poking fun. Please know that I can TOTALLY relate and was just making light of the situation. I am so NOT perfect!

No offense taken! Yes, I have a sense of humor and can TOTALLY laugh at myself. If I took myself seriously all the time, I would go nuts I think!
:)
I hope you will come back often to visit my blog! I would post this on your blog, but you posted anonymous, so I am not sure exactly who you are... so to mystery woman, nice to meet you and hope to be your friend!
Blessings,
Jen

Nov. 11, 2007 - Hi Jen~

Thanks for the comment the other day. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I've been really busy with a fund raiser that I'm heading up for our co-op's Thanksgiving dinner. I hope you didn't think I was being egotistical when I said I am 100% free of any regrets...because I still have lots of daily worry and frets. I was just saying that the regrets I used to have I've worked out with other people and with God. I'm very imperfect and will always be. Okay...I want to know about your beautiful signature at the end of your posts...did you make them or get them somewhere. It's so beautiful and I love all your colors and the polka dot background...I just learned to do 3-column templates so I'll be switching my blog around in the next few weeks...after Thanksgiving. Sorry for the long comment...please feel free to email me or pm me about the signature...come back again soon~
