Early this evening I managed to "sneak" out to the library (my respite, my home away from home).  On the way I stopped at Dairy Queen to get a treat.  (I was craving ice cream something awful!)  I did the drop-off and pick-up of books, then decided to sit in my car and finish my treat.  (I confess, I was getting
rid of the evidence.)  So, as I'm sitting there I reach for the book I brought to read. (My quest for ice cream was obviously premeditated!)  I brought my Heart of Anger study book. So I sat in the library parking lot reading about self discipline while I finished my chocolate-chocolate-chip-cookie-dough blizzard!  It struck me as so funny!!  You know we talked  today in my small group about how we as moms too often give the message, "do as I say, not as I do."  Guess I have some work to do! Lol!

      My dd is enjoying her time in DC.  We all miss her terribly.  She's my right hand and I notice the boys seem lost sometimes, too, without her here.

      Tomorrow an old friend's baby brother is getting married.  It will be a very special time.  My baby sister will be there, too.  She graduated with this young man.  And now they are both getting married this year.  Where does the time go?
