We went to a dance

Hi again. We went to a dance on June 27th . We had lots of people there. It was very fun. I barely danced because I was sick.
Yesterday we ate carrots from the garden. They were yummy. And we have lots of flowers in our garden.

I am so happy to hear from you again! I have a funny story about carrots and your dad. When your dad was a kid, I sent him out to the carrot patch to get a couple of carrots for lunch. He was taking a long time, so I went out to see what he was doing....

He had harvested ALL the carrots!! Pulled them all up!! So... I had to then drop everything I had planned on doing that afternoon and prepare the carrots for the freezer!

So you keep an eye on him around the carrot patch!! Though I hope he learned the carrots can keep quite well in the ground if you leave them there!
How are your baby chicks and ducks doing? I plan soon to have four laying hens of my own!!
