More Progress

Classes are going, though I'm definitely going to need to make sure I keep up with my homework. Other than that, they don't seem to be impossible or anything right now, though one might become a pain later on.

I have made a decent amount of progress where book 2 is concerned. I now have over 85K words. I found several things I'm going to need to improve and add to though (later chapters), which is going to probably add at least a few more thousand words when it is all said and done.

It is looking hopeful that I will have the final draft ready for professional editing by Christmas, but we'll see. I'm writing as often as I can, bouncing off from homework problems and back. Some interesting ideas have come from homework problems, believe it or not... though some of the best ideas have come during class, as weird as that may sound.

I have yet to draw much of anything lately for the chapters, but I am hoping it will all come to me in a burst (while I have time to actually draw).

Oh, since I forgot to write this in my previous entry, here are the classes I'm taking this semester if anyone is curious: Computer Methods, Compressible Fluid Flow, Engineering Design, and Systems I.

Glad to see you back making entries here again. I'm glad classes actually offer you some inspiration for the book as well as your actual degree, that is pretty cool somehow. I'm hoping to do a better job keeping my blog up as well, but we'll see. HUGS!!

Is Xulon a self publisher? And who do you get to edit?
Sorry, I always have a ton of questions on this matter. I know, I am having trouble with marketing as well, and am hoping for the same, word to mouth.
Ooo!! Five books!! How exciting! I want to buy the first one soon as I get the money!
I am delighted to see someone else my age publishing, quiet encouraging.
Hope your classes go well, and your homework! I am glad you are getting inspired, even if it is during your classes.

Wow! 85k! I can't wait for book 2 to come out!

That's interesting that Xulon pulished your book even though it was 360 pages. I will have to look at their website again.

I have another question for you: how old were you when you started writing RCD? I'm just really curious to know the background of your book.

Hey It is me Makayla. I love your blog. I think it is so awsome that somone in Bartelsville was homeschooled and writting books. I think it is awsome that I found you. I looked at your Website. Pretty Cool :-). So There is this one girl named SavedGirl she writes stories on her blog. They are good too. You should check it out. She is one of my friends. How are you? I am fine. How is Collage? I always wanted to go to collage for 6 years. I just got out of 6th grade so I have to do school 12 more years then. I want to move to Paris France, Learn French and thhe French sign Launguage and be a teacher for the mute, blind, and deaf. Thanks for the advise. I will try to finish it.
