This is what I have been memorizing. Proverbs 2:1-5 says, my son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you,turning your ear to wisdom and apply your heart to understanding,and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding,and if look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden teasure,then you will understand the fear of the lord and find the knowledge of God.

well, i just memorized 2 Peter 3:8,9: "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. For the Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longersuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentence." good couple of verses to memorize i think! it's like, it's so true! God is not slack concerning His promise of returning to claim the ones who have accepted Him. He is holding them up always, but is waiting to return so that none should perish. one day He will return...and the ones who said no to His Son's gift of eternal life...so yeah...
