Some Pictures!!

I have been sooooo bad about posting!!  What I had originally meant to post is really tooo old to post.  (what I was talking about in the entry happened over 3 weeks ago!!! LOL)  So, I decided to post some pictures that I took this last Saturday. 

 Here's Zarah, Micah, and Megan.  I think that Zarah was telling me something when I took it.  LOL

Haha, this^^^  is what Zarah does when you ask her to close her eyes.  It hilarious, she'll lower her eyebrows and roll her eyeballs around.  LOL

Here is Micah on the top level  of his playhouse.  He spends alot of time up there.  =]

Megan in the kitchen making chocolate chip cookies.  YUM!!

Megan took this one of Abi.  This little girl constantly has her hands in her mouth!!  I think that Megan forgot to zoom in!  oopsies.

Abi is standing up on her own lots more.  So far, 3 steps at one time has been the most.  I'm sure it won't be long before she is walking around trying to get into stuff.  LOL

Well, that's all for now.  I don't want to use up all of my photo space on here.  I have tried to use that img src code, but it messes up.  What is weird is that it worked for quite some time, and then when I went to post pictures last June, it started doing that to me.  I don't know what the heck is wrong.  If anyone has any idea what the deal might be, let me know!

Some Pictures

I'ts been a long time...

Okay, I'll admit it, I have been spending almost all my time on Facebook.  LOL  Yesterday Mom decided to get all set up on there.  I thought that was perty cool. 

My birthday is in just a few days.  Whoopee!  Tonight we are celebrating w/ Grandma & Grandpa, and Aunt Jolene, Uncle Kelly and cousin Kenadee.  Tuesday we will go to Pizza Hut and celebrate Bepaw's and my birthday.  ( Bepaw 's birthday was actually yesterday, he turned 61.) Memaw & Bepaw, Uncle Jeremiah, Aunt Kendra ,Uncle Derek, and cousin Adrianna.  'twill be fun getting together with everyone.  =]  My Birthday isn't until Wednesday, but we decided to eat at Pizza Hut on Tuesday so that we could take advantage of the Buffet.  ("tis way cheaper that way!)

Well, I really need to run.  I wanna call someone.  =]

Merry CHRISTmas!!

Wow, things are soooo Crazy here.  Saturday night we went to Memaw & Bepaw's to celebrate Abi's birthday.  Yesterday we went to Grandma & Grandpa's to celebrate Christmas with extended family.  Tonight we are heading over to Memaw's & Bepaw's to celebrate Christmas , and then Tomorrow we are celebrating Christmas yet again with Grandma & Grandpa!! I can't wait to settle down!! 

Well, I finally get to tell y'all something I have wanted to for a couple of weeks..... Mom's pregnant!!  The due date is August 20th.  I had to wait until family knew before I could tell everyone on here. 

Caylin said that I should post some pictures of Abi getting her ears pierced.

She had NO idea what was about to happen.  LOL

Let me tell you, her screams were ear piercing!!  (Haha, get it?)

LOL, here she is giving it to one of the ladies.   You can faintly see her earings.   You could see it better if I didn't have to shrink the picture.

Snow!

On Tuesday night, we got four inches of snow.  Yesterday I squeezed into my size 9 boots and went out to shovel snow.  I, of course, took out a steaming coffee in an insulated mug thingy.  By  the time I got done, I sure was tired.  I guess that overnight tonight there is a chance for another 2 to 4 inches of snow.  It sure is pretty outside, it's too bad that it can make roads so dangerous!   As soon as we transfer pictures off of the digital camera, and charge it, I want to to go outside and take pictures. 

Since it is December, I should get on and make a Christmas playlist for my blog.  I think I will go do that right now, while I am thinking about it.  =]  I always enjoy listening to Christmas music.

We got all of our Christmas decorations up the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  While I have the camera out taking pictures of the snow, I should take pictures of the decorations as well. 

I know that this is rather short, but I have a bunch of other things I want to get done.

You owe me a decaffeinated Coke!

Haha, the title is kinda random.  

Oh my goodness, this past week and a half  has been so crazy. 

(This is Friday Nov. 2)   A couple Fridays ago , dad decided to take the day off so that he could work on the furnace.  That day Megan helped Dad.  After we had put the three little kids in bed, Mom and I went shopping.  First, we went to Kohl's to find me a couple long-sleevd things.  When we got there I went straight to the Misses section, and didn't even bother going to the Juniors'.  About 1 1/2 yrs ago, I just quit shopping in the juniors area, because 99.9% of the clothes are tight. Even though we went to Misses, it still took like 30 minutes to find 2 shirts. Shopping for clothes downright stinks.  After all that, we went to Wal-Mart (which was absolutely packed, let me tell you).  Going there probably took about 2 hrs.  This was the first day that we had heat!!! YEAH!

Saturday I was helping Dad.  First thing, we (Micah, Dad, and I)went out and searched for a pull-tie tool.  We went everywhere looking for the stupid thing!  We went to Lowe's, a tool supply, Ace Hardware, TSC, and Big R.  That took up about 2 hrs, and by the time I got home I was hungry.  LOL  We got into the groove, and started working on the furnace.  After awhile, we had to go up and take a shower to get ready to go to the fish fry.  Once we got back, we had family time. 

On Sunday, we first had devotions, then lunch.  And then after that I started helping Dad on the furnace.  We were getting ready to get back in the crawlspace.  Once Mom and all my siblings went to Grandma& Grandpa's for supper, Dad and I started moving the water pipes around.  (where they had been was in the way, and we could not have run duct.)  It was going good, until Dad broke an ancient pipe that he didn't mean to.  It was freaky too, because I was standing right under it, and duct, and ran.  Fortunately, it neither hit me or sprayed me with water.  (Yes, we had turned the water off, but there was still a bit of water still sitting in there. )  It ended up taking us ten times longer.  Dad was replacing the pipe with the flexible pvc stuff.  I forgot what you call it, but anyways, we were cutting a length of it when Dad's dry hands accidentally let go of it.  It when "WHACK!" and hit the back of my left hand.  Oh my goodness, it hurt so bad!  Dad said sorry about 10 times.  LOL  Its lots better, but its still bruised a tad.  We finally were able to make it to Grandma's & Grandpa's to eat. 

Monday was Megan's dentist appointment.  We decided to all go (which was a hoot!).  After that we grabed a bite to eat, and then went to JoAnn Fabric.  (I love that store!!)  Once we got home, I did a couple of things, and then it was time to eat supper.  After that I went down to help Dad in the basement. 

 Tuesday was a rather normal day.  I did school, then scrunched a bit of computer time.  Then after supper I went down to help dad. 

Wednesday night Megan was invited to go along with one of her friends to church service, so she went to that.  Dad decided to go shopping with Mom.  (which is totally suprising, let me tell you.  He doesn't like to go shopping! )  He decided to go to spend some time with Mom.  So, I was here watching the three little kiddos while everyone was out. 

Thursday Dad & Micah went to bed around 7:30 P.M. , because of gettinjg up super early to start their little trip to Newton, Iowa.  I was in the kitchen making cookies for them to take along.  =]  After I was done with that, we went and watched part of Facing the Giants  (awesome movie, btw, I absolutely reccomend it!) , and then went to bed. 

Friday (this last Friday), I stumbled into the kitchen at 4:45 A.M.  to say good-bye to Dad and Micah.  It was so sad watching Micah leave.  (NO, I did NOT cry, LOL, it was just a downer.) I then went back to bed to get some more Zzzzs.   Then I got back up and did school and all the normal stuff.  That night I tried out a new recipe (Fried Mozzerella Sticks, YUM!).  Micah and Dad ended up getting back around 9:50 P.M. 

Saturday it was Megan's turn to go downstairs, so I just did stuff around the house.  Around 5 P.M. , Memaw & Bepaw came over.  (which was fun =] ) After that, I ended up having to help Dad. 

Sunday we ate breakfast, had devotions, and then ate lunch.  That day was my turn to help.  We had to hoist that 8 ft long, 80 lb akward vent into the crawlspace with out tearing all the tape  and insulation off of it.  (it was *very* fun, let me tell ya) That was the stress for the day.  After we got it attached and everything, we called it quits and got cleaned up 'n went to Grandma & Grandpas for supper.

Yesterday (Monday) was yet another normal morning/afternoon.  Megan was downstairs helping Dad.  (they got two ducts in the living room attached!!!) Mom went to Kohl's in search of a new coat for me.  ( the one I have had is too little now. )  She found an awesome new coat, and only had to pay $38 for it!  (which is awesome, seings how it had been $140!!! )  It's a really pretty lime shade.

Well, thats all for now.  I wanna go back and do stuff on FaceBook.  LOL

I need help coming up with titles!!  LOL

Oh my goodness, I was so tired on Thursday night.  I was in the basement yawning helping Dad, and he asked me to take the level from him.  I walk over and took it, and in an upbeat voice I said "Thank you!"  .  It took me a second to realize what I had just said.  Dad just looked at me a minute and said, "Your Welcome!".  I felt like such an idiot.  Later, I was outside (I think that we had to get something from the construction house) and I see this long, black snake. (this thing was like 3 ft long!)  I went "Aughhhh"! , and jumped away from it.  (Dad was way ahead of me, so he never heard me)  I slowly walked back up to it to get a closer look, and realized it was just a fallen tree branch.   NOTE: I am not normally so stupid, it was just that I was sooo tired. 

On Friday, we went to Memaw and Bepaw's to celebrate Zarah's birthday.  We had lots of fun.  I think that Zarah has gotten the hang of unwrapping presents now. 

On Saturday, we (all except for Dad, he was busy working on the furnace.) went  to Amanda's 18th birthday party.  The Novak's came to the party, so I was able to meet them as well.  It was really fun getting to meet everyone.  =]

*pants* Oh my, it is so hot. Right now I am at my Gradnparent's house, and I'm not used to it being so warm.  (we don't have our furnace in yet, we definitely will by Friday or there abouts.)

I realized that HSB put the "About Me' section back up, so I wrote a few lines in it.  I just got a PhotoBucket account, because our email is changing, and on our Earthlink webspace I kept all of my photos.  PhotoBucket seems like a pretty good site.  It is rather easy to upload pictures to it and everything.  If anyone needs a place for pictures, I recommend going there!

Hey, hey, hey, 'tis Monday!

This past week we have been very busy!  Dad took off Thursday and Friday to try and get more stuff done on the Furnace.  Haha, you guys (and girls-you know what I mean) should have seen me yesterday.  I was in the crawspace helping Dad get ready to lay out the duct work.  I was wearing a base-ball cap to try and cut down on the dirt getting in my hair, but my hair still felt gross.  By the time I was done, I sure was ready for a shower! 

The other day Micah had pulled up his little stool and was "helping'' me wash the dishes.  He pointed to the sprayer that we have, and I told him that it was broken.  He thought on it for a minute and then said, "New battery?".  Haha, I thought that was so funny. 

On Thursday I babysat a couple of kids.  They were rowdy when i first got there, but once their Mom left, I was able to calm them down.  They weren't too bad overall, which was a relief. 

Thursday night we had a bad tornado whip thru Bourbon and Napanee , towns not terribly far away.  No one was killed, which was a miracle.  To see just how bad the damage was, go here.  We know a person whose house was hit by the tornado.  Thank goodness it isn't extremely bad!! Could y'all please pray for those whose houses and businesses were badly damaged or destroyed?  I think that there were 199 homes and 53 businesses that were damaged or destroyed in the storm.

Today, while Dad was driving back from work, some idiot pulled out in front of him.  Dad had to swerve out of the way, and broke a break line in the process.  The guy didn't even stop to make sure Dad was okay!  So now he is out fixing it, and is having to take time away from working on the furnace.  I swear, people can be so irritating sometimes.  Praise the Lord no one was hurt!

I figure that it is time for a new post....

Man, I wish that I could post more often.  Its just that when I think that I will have time to post, something comes up, and I am too busy.  =[

Two weeks ago we started tearing out the old furnace.  (it was installed in '79, and was not efficient) We got all of it out about a week ago, and ever since we have been working on installing the new furnace.  We are really trying to hurry up and install it, because of all the cool weather that we have had lately (the lows at night have been anywhere from 38 to 55*).   We hope to have heat within the next two weeks, we are just not sure though.  Last week we decided to close off the upstairs, because that is where most of our heat gets lost (the house is not insulated).  Megan and I are still sleeping upstairs, we just pile on the extra covers.  I know that this is going to sound stupid, but I have been so used to falling asleep with a fan on that I still turn my box fan on at night, I just point it away from me.  =D 

Since we had to shift gears and start working on the furnace, we didn't end up getting and electricity upstairs, so Megan and I use a falshlight at night.  It really is no biggy, because we stay downstairs most of the time anyways. 

Hmmm, I am 22 comments away from having a new featured blogger.

Well, I need to get to commenting.  I just felt like posting.
