On September 11, 2009, while most of the country was remembering a tragedy, history was being made in Yankee Stadium. In the third inning of a game against the Orioles, with the bases empty, and no outs, 35 year old shortstop  Derek Jeter drove a ball past first baseman, Luke Scott, to start the inning. To the average person it looked like a normal hit, but everyone in the stadium knew history had just been changed before their eyes. Before that at-bat, Jeter had been riding on 2,721 career hits, tied with the Yankees’ legendary first baseman, Lou Gehrig. Afterwards, he had achieved something no other player on his team ever had. The crowd went wild, a crowd which had waited through an hour long delay, and steady rain throughout the game. His team surrounded him at first base, while his name resounded through the stadium. Cameras flashed and fans cheered. The scoreboard read “Congratulations Derek! 2722” Though the Yankees went on to lose the game, 10-4; the stadium was filled with an air of celebration.   

The Yankees also clinched the AL East!!!

The black one, which we named Darcy, (after Mr. Darcy) is a boy, and the brown one, is a girl. We named her Elizabeth. Hey everybody!!! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been busy going to my dad's basketball games!!!! So baseball season is upon us. Spring Training started the other day, and so far the Yankees are 2-1. Unfortunantly for A-Rod, the fans seem to hate his guts now. They're SO fickle!!!! The other day, when A-Rod came up, the fans booed him, then when he hit a homer, the gave him a standing ovation. Yesterday they booed him again, and he went 0 for 2, so no ovation after that... He didn't play today, so now boos or cheers.

Today we found these two adorable puppies under our house!!!! THEY ARE SO CUTE!!! I don't think we're gonna keep them, though I wish we were... One looks like a German Shepherd/Chow mix, and the other looks like a Chow. I love them!!!!! *squeals*

Hey everybody, how's it going!!!! Sorry I haven't been on much lately... So let me catch you up on what's been going on. Well, let me see... Oh yeah!!! Winter Jam was AWESOME!!!! Hawk Nelson and Toby Mac rocked!!!!!! It was awesome!!! My dad said we'd go to the summer version in June!!!! My niece is staying with us right now cause my bro and sis in law went on a trip to Costa Rico. Today we went to her Valentine's Day party at her preschool!!!! AWWW THE KIDS WERE SO CUTE!!!!!!! Ashley and I got in the floor and played with them!!! I had so much fun with the little guys!!!! Friday we're going to a Valentine's Day party too, which I'm excited about!!!!

So as you probably heard A-Rod used steroids from 2001-2003. Let me tell you I was very disappointed. I couldn't help but think, with all the controversy surrounding him, "What kind of role model does he want to be, cause he's sure not a good one!" Then I heard he admitted taking them rather than pull a Barry Bonds... lol!!! What I want to know is of the 104 players who tested positive for steroid use in 2003, how come A-Rod was the only one on the list whose name has been revealed. I e-mailed his site the other day and told him though I was disappointed in him for using them, I gained a lot of respect for him when he admitted taking them.

Oh and the other day I got a new book, "A Yankee Stadium Scrapbook". I think it's a nice thing to commemorate the stadium since it's now history...

Hey, just thought I'd say hello from a weigh station in Kentucky. So now, I bet you're wondering why in the world I'm just sitting here, wasting valuable time, which we could be spending delivering wood. Well let me tell you why. These cops are the biggest morons I've ever met, that's why. (They can't even work their printer!!!) *hours later, after we arrived* Apparently we forgot our license plate and registration... They said my dad couldn't drive the truck for 10 hours, so my big bro had to come bring us the other truck. We ended up spending over 4 hours, with nothing to drink, sitting in our truck. We got back on the road. We got to Missouri, finally, and finally got to St. Louis, which is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! Prettiest city I've ever seen!!!! The Arch was gorgeous, as was Busch Stadium. We stopped at Sonic at 10 something. We ordered Chicken meals, they gave us chili cheese burritos. Then, we entered the Twilight Zone... *horror music* It was so nauseating, it was like a rollercoaster. We called it Hooterville!!!! (Green Acres) FINALLY we made it to the place we were supposed to deliver to, at 11 something!!! We delivered, and the dude let us stay at this lodge he works at or something for only $35. We were super excited, until we found out that it had one king sized bed. Lond story short, my dad is sleeping on the floor. Tomorrow, we're gonna try to go back through St. Louis, so I can take some pics, cause they weren't taking well tonight. I took a bunch of pics at the weigh station, by the way.

Hey guys!!! So I won't be on tomorrow. Or Friday for that matter. You see, I'm going to Missouri with my dad and Ashley on a delivery, so yeah. We're leaving at 6:00 tomorrow morning!!! *gasp* So yeah, don't expect me on much, pretty much the only time I'll even get on my laptop is to do math (I use Aleks, which totally rocks!!! Hey guys!!! First off, it snowed here, again, yesterday. (I took pics, which I'll post later) The snow didn't stick, but it was fun to run around in. I spent the afternoon updating my playlist. (it's on the bottom of the page) We're going to go to Winter Jam soon!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!! I can't wait to see Toby Mac, and Hawk Nelson perform live!!! (I have 19 tobyMac songs, and 29 Hawk Nelson songs on my playlist btw) I can't wait!!! It's gonna be awesome!!!! Last night, we watched "Church league" co-ed basketball games for 3 hours!!! lol!!!! It was fun!!! There was a sign out side the bathrooms that said "NOTICE: Not Responsible For Accidents." It meant they weren't responsible if someone got hurt while playing, but they put it in the wrong spot...

Hey guys!!! How's it going!!!! So today it snowed some!!!! I was so excited!!!! Unfortunantly, it didn't stick... Though the fish pond in our back yard froze over. Ashley, me, one of my nieces, and two of my nephews skated around on it this evening 'til it started to thaw. Then we just chipped off huge chunks of ice, to look for "fish carcasses", but then my hands started to hurt. That was like two or three hours ago, and my hands still hurt. And are still red. lol!!!! So today my mom bought me "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw" I've already finished it. It was a great book!!!! I love that series!!!! I can't wait to see the movie!!!! lol!!!

Hey guys!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! [Eve...] lol!!!! I can't believe it's Christmas Eve!!! Already!!!! Man I can't wait til tonight!!! (in which I get to open a couple of presents!!!) I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!!!! lol!!!! So I had a TERRIBLE time getting to sleep last night, which stunk, and I figure I'll sleep even worse tonight... Hey guys!!!!!! How's it going??? (as usual) So there are only 6 days 'til Christmas and I've only bought 1 PRESENT!!!!!!! Christmas stress is hitting me. (Oh my word I sound about 50...) My mom said that she'd take me shopping tomorrow, but man it'll be hard to buy presents for her and Ash when they're THERE!!!! I love Christmas, but I have some trouble buying presents... Usually I'm short on money, but this year I'm short on time and creativity... *sigh* Oh well... I'll think of something!!! Oh and my dad is in Guatamala again, he'll be home on Sunday!!!! Hey guys!!! ONLY 12 DAYS 'TIL CHRISTMAS!!!! YAY!!!! I'm so excited!!! So you know how I promised I would post some vids of me playing the drums once I felt that having people listen would ruin my reputation??? Well, I was gonna keep that promise tonight... I took 8 vids, but none turned out really well... Oh well... I'll try again later!!! Though I might make a comedy out of it... lol!!!!! I watched a new episode of iCarly tonight!!! IT WAS HILLARIOUS!!!! lol!!!! Dude, last night my nephew Thatcher was at my house, and we were wrestling. Well then he walks over to my dad's recliner. You know those nesting doll thingymajiggers???  He picked the smallest one up, and from about 4 or 5 feet away, hurled it at me and whacked me upside the head!!!! Note, the kid is 3 YEARS OLD!!!! HOW DOES A 3 YEAR OLD HAVE THAT GOOD AIM???? And get this!!! AFTER he hit me, he said "Bet you didn't see that coming!" then he just grinned. I was like "THATCHER!!!! You're gonna pay for that!!!!!!" lol!!!!!! It made my head hurt... Kids these days... *shakes head* jk...
