Elizabeth's journal -age 10 Milkweed
I think summer is one of the loveliest times to take advantage of a lot of learning that really doesn't look like learning. Nature journaling, reading living books about nature, collecting specimens, gardening, garden journaling, and picnicking out on blankets in the back yard are all activities that can be enjoyed during the rich, warm months of summer. I highly recommend modeling nature journaling yourself. Your kids will embrace it all the more if you write and draw alongside them. It really works!
