Know Your Audience

I love blogging...but do you know what it's like to live with two wordy and creative teenagers who can’t get enough accolades, escapades, and arpeggios (I'm just trying to sound like one of them) to satisfy their literary lusts?! We were somewhat normal  last week, writing at our own pace, sending out submissions when we felt inspired, until something sinister entered our living room…and that something is an AUDIENCE! Yikes!!! The energy flowing in this room is enough to give you an electric jolt (more about that later). Now we’re thinking of getting a laptop because we don’t have enough computer time between the three of us. Really, this is a dilemma…or is this my reality???

I hear what your saying. Blogging is fun until you realize that there are actually people who are reading what you're saying. Yikes!

I can relate to the computer dilemmas. We all share one computer and my husband works from home. Spunky Jr. and I write the most but the boys are catching up quick. Maybe some day someone will find what we say appealing enough, to pay us enough, to buy enough computers for everyone. Enough said!

Wireless

Yes, Hubby and I scrambling for the computer remind me of the commercial where the husband and wife try all kind of tricks in order to get to be the one who drives the new car that day.

Until I started blogging I never realized how much we would both be on the computer. The more involved I get the more I am thinking wireless. I get the big desk computer . . . he gets to use his little compact notebook computer!

For now, we will just keep scrambling. Oh, and as far as the public audience, my fingers were actually trembling when I wrote my first blog post.
