Through the Windowpane

In Words and Pictures

After trying to come up with a name for our ministry that would both represent writing and drawing from life, my eyes fell upon the phrase There's rosemary, that's for remembrance, which is written in calligraphy on the back of my journal. "Yes Lord, that’s it!” I exclaimed, “Remembrance Press!” Finally the Lord has given us the name that we have been searching for - a name that expresses the words found in Malachi 3:16 "Then they that feared the LORD spoke often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name."
So we are posting a new page on the blog that our whole family will participate in, a kind of Gift of Family Blogging page http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/giftoffamilybloggers where we can dialog together about what the Lord is doing in our lives. I hope our posts will encourage you to share what the Lord is doing in your lives as well. Are you an artist, poet, or writer? Do you write to your family members on a regular basis? How about you artists out there (we know your out there)? How do you foster creativity in your children? We want to hear from you! It is our earnest desire that this blog bear fruit and that many journals will be filled with words and pictures that minister to your families and glorify the name of the Lord.
