Random Family Shots.... but mostly me!  :-)  Vanity...

Pavilion built in 1800's.

A neat relief statue at a park in our city.  It's really long and narrow. All along it has interesting images. DD is at the end of it. You can see it snaking around behind to the right of the picture.

Yes, those are poinsettias in May!  :-)  Love this place!

An old building of traditional style.

I am always so interested when you post pictures and share of the culture over there, Jimmie.
What an awesome life experience you are having! I will just have to live vicariously through you (and Karen W)

Yeah - I've always wondered why too. We had friends that lived in China for two years teaching English to college students. But they weren't able to talk in much detail about what they did, so I just figured the question may be a bit awkward for you.

I love the pix - especially the relief statue.

All the pictures on your blog are so wonderful !! I thoroughly enjoy reading and seeing what it is like in China. Thank you so much for taking the time to show us and give us a feel of what every day life is like there.

I just love the little dog with the broken leg in a sling!!

This is probably my very favorite blog.
