May 29, 2006 - Pigs
Here are some photos of pigs. I like pigs. Despite
the smell, which you can see that DD doesn't like either, I think they
are cute. I stuck the camera inside the bars to get this
shot. Look how clean those babies are compared to the mommy pig! This
is another pig pen. I thought in interesting that around the door
to the pen there are the red banners of blessing that Chinese people
put on their doors. When I joked about it to a Chinese friend,
she reminded me that that pig represents wealth and livelihood to that
family, so they must put a blessing around its pen. Yeah, it makes
sense. God bless the pig! Keep the sweet and sour pork ribs
coming!

I always have. They do smell bad, though - we used to have a pig farm down the road from us years ago, and in summer it was pungent! haha
I love your pictures. It's the next best thing to being there. :)
