1. Polarize
Upload any picture, and this cool online software will add a neat border, making it look like a Polaroid picture. This is an example:
Before
After
2. Color Palette GeneratorThis is great for selecting background colors for your blog. If you have a photo or background you want to use, this will help you find the codes for colors to go along with it. That's how I chose the nice green to match the floral design in the back of my blog.
3. Blogging Basics 101
This blog is a great resource of how-tos!
4. Mosaic Maker
This uses your Flickr photos. So you've got to have photos there (unless you want to use someone else's).
There are lots of options for putting your photos together into a mosaic. Here is an example of a plant we studied and our nature journals of it.
1. my cassia surrattensis, 2. plant, 3. cassia surrattensis, 4. Sprite's Cassia surrattensis Have fun decorating your blog! It's way cheaper than redecorating your home and just as fun!

Actually, "Polorarize" looks more like how all my pics that were developed in China turned out--with a solid white rim around the edge. :) Do they still print them that way? That was like 9 years ago.
And, by the way, Mosaic Maker from bighugelabs will work with any photo on the internet as long as you know the URL of the image. However, it does works *best* and interactively with Flickr. I heart Mosaic Maker!!

Lol...you realized my need to do some further research on 'How to Blog' :) These links are great!
I usually use photobucket, but this looks like a much nicer site. I'm off to look deeper into it.
Thanks!
