September 4, 2008 - One Useless Thing I've Learned While in China

Chopsticks are great, but they have limitations.
For example, they do not spread peanut butter well at all.

This lesson was learned while we were living in hotel rooms before we got this amazing new apartment.

September 4, 2008 - Thanks for coming to Hungary

Hi, thanks for stopping by and YES they HATE big bills and tell us all the time it is NOT their responsibility to change it. So strange. Very similar.

Are you in China for the same reasons as me? I am so intrigued...we are thinking we might go there one year. I also saw that you like Charlotte Mason, I am trying to think through possible homeschooling for the boys... any thoughts would be welcome! Thanks again and look forward to "talking" to you. Feel free to email me and let me know if I have to watch what I say... julie (dot) anderson (at) ccci (dot) com
Thanks julie

ROFL! =D

OTOH, it's pretty awesome that you can get peanut butter in China. There was no such thing in England when I was growing up - though they have it there now.

Hey, thanks for stopping by my blog today! To answer your question regarding the #2, they give you very little paper for #1. If you pay for more, then you get more. But that is only on the bathrooms closest to the center of town, and very close to the streets. Not the nicest, but when you gotta go..... lol~

Now you have me wanting to try to spread pb with chopsticks! Maybe if you squeeze the two together to form a makeshift knife? Or better yet, dip the chopsticks in pb and then wrap bread around it-- a pb sandwich on a stick.

Okay, that was lame.

I'll stop now.

I'm glad you have real utensils now! LOL

September 14, 2008 - chopsticks

That's hysterical! :) When we did our study on China a few weeks ago and got chopsticks, our oldest ate everything possible for the next 2 weeks with them. She found a way to make it possible.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Love your new design - and I know what you mean about coughing up the cash for a new design - I'm still fiddling around with my html too and trying to do it on my own. Only if I get extremely desperate...
