My sweet Sprite make me some adorable slippers. Because my feet are big (9 1/2), I usually have to wear boring navy blue or brown slippers -- the men's colors. But we happened to find a larger size of PINK! Woo hoo! I get pretty slippers this year!
It's LUV from Mom and LUM to MOM, Sprite explained.
In China, usually people wear slippers (like these) inside and regular shoes outside. Of course, you'd never wear your outside shoes in the house!

Here in Peru too, only with flip-flops as house shoes and any other kind of sandal or shoe as outside shoes :) When I used to have a housekeeper, she'd always call to me as I went out the door in flip-flops to remind me that I might want to change my shoes... I always wear flip-flops and don't care what anyone thinks about it ;) I stand out anyway, I seriously doubt the flip-flops will put anyone over the top!
