What do you think of my new red and white striped broom?
Nice, huh?
I'll bet you don't have one like it.

Yeah, because mine is made of 100% real juice!
And only 140 calories per serving.
So what's your broom made of?

• August 9, 2008 - Photohunters -- Dark
Theme -- Dark
Sprite helped me select dark subjects at the market
for this week's photos.
This chicken tastes like any other chicken, but it is dark skinned. The meat is darker too. And it makes a quite inky looking broth.

These are a sticky snack food (usually made of rice) wrapped in leaves and steamed.

After a long break from Photo Hunters, I'm back! (My last entry was in April.) It's a challenge I really enjoy.

• April 26, 2008 - Photo Hunters -- Unique or Funny Signs
Theme Unique or Funny Signs
I haven't been able to post Photo Hunters images lately. The topics just haven't worked for me. But this one -- funny or unique signs? No problem. Even here in Hong Kong where English is a second language, there is plenty of humor for an American.
One thing I love about HK is that, in contrast to China, it is far more friendly and accessible to people with disabilities. Point in case -- handicapped restrooms. I know that for many of you, a special access toilet is not anything to be amazed by. But they are rare in China. This one gets special marks for its peculiar sign.

Theme Free

When I hear "free," I always think liberty.
And what country is the land of the free?
America, land that I love.
Here is a cute craft I found adorning a Christmas tree during my time in America. I thought it was adorable and wanted to document it so I wouldn't forget the idea. (I don't know who Braden is; I found this at a community center in "small town" TN.)
