Feel like I'm ridin' a whirlwind!! Glenn (dh) left this morning to begin his cross-training as a Chaplain's Assistant (in the AF). It's exciting because it begins a new adventure in our life, however, this is the first time he has left us. Thankfully it IS only for 6 weeks, so we can do this!! Actually it's good timing, I sometimes start having pity parties for myself thinking I have to do everything around here! So now I'll have a chance to really do it all on my own and hopefully I'll realize just how much Glenn does around here. I hope that doesn't sound snotty.....I am praying that God will richly bless this time apart for us.
We took the last two weeks off from school as Glenn was off work and we wanted to spend as much time as we could with him. We got lots of stuff done around the house which is SO nice! Woohoo! Lots of decluttering!! I cannot believe how much stuff I was hording! So I am getting rid of lots of stuff so that I can rely on God rather than what's in my storage!
I'm rambling, can you tell?? Not much else happening right now. Gearing up for school again.....gotta do my lesson plans tonight!
